Icelandic abstract artist Katrin Fridriks has unveiled her work for the “Art Stars” campaign, a celebration by Ralph Lauren of the iconography of America and the American dream.
For this campaign, Ralph Lauren commissioned forty young contemporary artists to customize stars made from American denim.
Katrin has produced a star in her inimitable style.
The artworks of the selected artists are being exhibited in various strategic retail locations throughout Europe before making their way to London for a group exhibition after the summer.
At the end of the year, the campaign will end up with a charity auction and gala whose proceeds will be donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity supported by the Ralph Lauren Foundation.
