Enormous Basquiat retrospective at the Musée d’Art moderne de la Ville de Paris

It may well be art week in London with Frieze and its many lesser imitators, but from where we sit, Paris is where it’s at right now (although some will argue that’s been the case for some time now.)

With FIAC a week away, this week city opening of the largest single exhibition of works ever seen in France by Jean-Michel Basquait, in celebration of the celebrated graffiti artist and Warhol collaborators 50th birthday.

And whilst you are there, take a half-day to head out to Versailles for the fantastic Takeshi Murakami exhibition: http://www.chateauversailles.fr/les-actualites-du-domaine/evenements/evenemen…
